Toyota should have no trouble selling Matrix considered its reputation and the return of the hatchback. If it drives as anything else like the review says, the new Corolla will be a sporty econocar even for North American market.

BTW, I really hate the Altezza tailights on the top-end model of the Matrix. Have anyone noticed this design?

While the 2.4 is a good engine, it might not suited Matrix's character as a sporty hybrid. 2.4 is more of a cruiser engine that suits the Camry and Previa really well.
