Re: 2004 VW Golf/Gti??? (RENZO1200)

i hope it ends up looking better than that...but i think the design is mostly suited to europeans...guess they favor that kind of design?
and the two-door version might look a bit hotter.

I thought Chrysler merged with MB not VW. Sounds like the "Cab Forward" crap http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

Any time someone doesnt agree with a bold decision, they ask "are they on crack?" like they have a clue. Um, the new fashion is minivans, like the Mazda thing, the "sponsored by 'Bad Idea Jeans'" WRX Wagon, and the Toyota matrix. The status quo sucks too.

Can't say I like it, but...

Hiya,
Can't say I like it but remember a couple things:
Except for the Audi TT, very few preliminary drawings actually make production. They tend to over-emphasize a styling change to guage the response.
Secondly, remember (at least I can) how UFO-like the first Ford Taurus looked? Now they look downright square. How about the 94 Integra with those tiny headlights? Or the Neon? I can think of tens of cars that the market said "yuck" too, including myself, that are now commonplace, and even accepted as the industry standard.
The picture you have posted looks as much van-ish as the 2002 Civic Si, as another poster has pointed out, with the PT Cruiser, this type of arrangement may be the wave of the future.
Still, for now, throw in my "Yuck!"

Michael
