With that engine output, (approx 295 hp and 302 ft-lbs for those of us in the USA) the claimed 0-100 kph time seems awfully conservative.
Problems putting the power to the ground maybe?

I agree.. unless the power doesn't make it to thr ground, that car should see low 5s minumum.

It does seem conservative, but everyone calls those wheels boat anchors, so maybe it's the wheel weight.

aren't these stock photos? they ps'ed it?

either way, i love the rear treatment!! by making the exhaust part of the trim black, the huge gray part now looks like the plastic bumper trims on mk2s! perfect!

Coolest MkV car yet- I'm in love. Just think... you should be able to grab one of these in black stripped for about $16k, add a Sportec package (or your own chip, suspension and tires, and then their wheels) and still not even be anywhere close to $20k in the end for a world-class, German-engineered, sport-tuned car with a handsome amount of style and utility.
