Hi there, I have been reading about upgrading the FW on my RNS510. The software screen shows I have version H01 with FW Version 3696. I am based in the USA in Nevada if locality makes any difference.

What would be a good place to get the FW from and what version can I upgrade too? I'm really sorry because I know the answers are in threads but I have been reading for an hour and I'm just getting confused. Thanks

So you have hardware version H01 (the original) but it's a revision G.
It currently has firmware v3696, which would be the factory load for 2013. According to my info, the latest firmware this unit can handle is v4366.
I see it has map v7870; that's the 2011 nav data. The current CD-based map is revision 12, which is v8534.

PM me and I'll pass on some info about obtaining the firmware update.
