2024 Aston Martin DB12 Revealed as a 671-HP 'Super' Tourer

Aston Martin design peaked with the DB9/DBS era cars. Everything else since then has just looked off -- especially with the front ends.

That gaping maw with the over-creased hood and bumper on the DB12 is hideous.

The bigger Aston Martin mouth they have, the uglier they look.

DB7 doesn't look ugly but (to ME) it looks too much like a Jaguar XK (which made Aston looked cheap). DB9 were truly "next level" design.



I know they were sister cars.

I always thought the OG Vanquish was peak styling for the recent-ish ones. A little brutal, a little lithe.

Those two weren’t sister cars though. You’re thinking of the 1st gen XK8/XKR:

The interior is much improved (if generic), but the exterior is like an uglier version of a DBS Superleggera. Definitely doesn't look like an "all new" model.
