20th Anniversary GTI questions (hello, Europe?)

I want to get a set of the red seat belts from the 20th anniversary GTI and wanted to know if the european seat belts were compatible with US spec cars. Do they have the same tension charge as ours? I would also need part numbers for them.
Anyone across the pond want to help?
