did you use a heat gun to get those headlight covers off? looks like it was pretty easy for ya huh? A++ work man. this is my next mod too

I used my roommates blowdryer with my most recent joey mod, tried the oven method twice..........Blow dryer works amazingly, way less prying.

bs, i used the oven like two weeks ago when i did a friends lights. five minutes at 200 degrees = right off.. mod looks good, nice work. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

200 degrees? jesus. you're lucky you didn't melt those things. and they were in for five minutes? the DIY here on the forum says 170 and keep em in there for 10 seconds.

170 degrees for 10 seconds? that's barely anything. i dont even remember what i did with mine since i did them so long ago.
but to the OP, i LOVE the 20th joey mod (it's what i did). it so much easier to do, and IMO looks so much more tasteful than a full joey. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

yeah i'm liking it for sure
wasn't to hard using the hair dryer i found that it is easyer to direct the heat to where you need it. should have found my heat gun but i was to lazy.
something about putting my headlight in an oven just doesn't seem safe.
