20th Imola Yellow Votex Valence Paint Brittle?

Anyone notice this? I noticed lately that the paint on the front/rear valences are quite brittle. The paint chips on my valences are weird b/c the impacts don't show pitting but instead more like surgical incisions in the paint - paint-surface-deep, not even into the primer. I met up with Brake Dust (Tom) who works with paint and he said that the factory or shop outsourced by the dealer to paint the valence might not have mixed enough flex into the paint.
Any takers on this?

I will tell you that there is no prob with BMP. I tood a piece of 18 wheeler re-tread right in the front valence, not a little piece either, at 65mph, and no problem, just a little scratch that buffed out. I was impressed..

Are the dealers getting these valences painted or these painted at the factory and the dealer mounts them?
