Hi...
I'd like to know will the muffler from a 24v jetta fit a 2000 12v jetta? I want to know because I currently have a magnaflow catback and want to change it back to stock. I came across a 24v muffler from the classified and wanted to know if it was compatible.

Yep,
you will need the valence with the cutout for exposed tips, thats all. otherwise it will bolt up to your stock midpipe.

isnt it a sin to go from magnaflow back to stock? I had to remove my resonator since i was not having enough of magnaflow.

you're right...it is a sin. but i'm planning on either trading in the car or selling it. i really don't have much of a choice, unless, the potential buyer wants the aftermarket parts.
