I think that would be kinda tough. I know DaBlackJetta has gotten to 213 with simple mods like chip, exhaust, and Intake. You could always start doing serious stuff like billyt, but then again with the stock turbo 250whp would be pretty hard I would imagine. I'm sure someone who has a better Idea of this stuff will post something.

You'd need something bigger than a K04 turbo to get 250 at the wheels, like AT LEAST a GT25 with 3" exhaust and intake. Really a T3 is what you would need. DBJ is 213 at the wheels with an AWW K03, 3" exhuast and intake, so that's at least 240 at the crank. You could get close (230-240 whp) with a K04 and all the other mods (K04 chip,CAI,3" exhaust, FMIC) I would think.

There are gonna be many combinations needed but the 3" is not mandatory at least in my case. I do have many other mods but only have a 2.25 inch downpipe and 2.5" Techtonics exhaust. 260hp at the wheels at 1mile altitude. Maybe 275 plus at sea level. Most any of the bigger turbo kits would probably get you there with a little additional help. My car is a Passat which seems to be a slight disadvantage when making power compared to the transverse guys.

I don't have a dyno, but Chad at Eurotech Atlanta is running 262hp and 323 ft-lbs at the wheels with 18" Kinesis wheels on the rollers!
I can't be 100% positive of all his mods, but here'e what I know...
GIAC chip - 2.5" Techtonics straight pipe (cat and resonator still on) - Forced Motion IC - ATP 3" dp - CAI - and a 75 wet shot of n2o...all on the stock K03.

Uhh... I think you mean T25, not GT25. The smallest trim of GT25 is rated to flow 350 horsepower and the larger trims support around 450. I have personally seen an 8-valve Porsche 944 with a GT25 put down 410whp on something like 1.3 bar of boost. The GT25 is waaaaaay bigger than a T25.
If my goal was 250whp I'd just wait until Greddy finishes their turbo kit. It's supposed to put down power right around that range and support more power if you turn up the boost.

SO, that means he is running 187 whp without the Nos...
On my car, if I ran a 75 shot of NOS, I would be at 288 whp...

Naa.. doubt it.. Billy should be the one with that name..even tho he does drive a Golf!
Not sure what i am going to do for a screen name... Maybe I should buy another Black Jetta.. just so I can keep the name?!
