what are these ideal for. i searched and read almost everything i could find. im new to most of the engine stuff but i have a better understand of cams now. if i read correctly 268s are ideal for daily driving. i like that low end power part of the 256s so i just need some feedback i guess. all i have is intake, exhaust, and chip.

ok well im not sure if i will be doing this soon due to being at college for the next 9 months. but i guess i need to decide if i want more low end and mid or if i want more top end. would you not recommend the 256 without boost or doesnt matter?

I had 256 cams and thought they gave a nice punch thru the mid range. If I could go back and choose again I would've picked the 268's though.
If your going f/i then I would get maybe 248's or 256's with the 118 cam lobe. Though I heard ppl had bad experiences with the 256's and boost. But that was awhile ago and they may have fixed those issues with the software.
