25th A.E. Valences fit US bumper?

25th Ann. GTI Valences fit US bumper?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but do the front and rear valences off the 25th Anniversary GTI fit on a North American bumper?

Its my understanding that on the GOLF/GTI, you need the euro bumper for the regular 4Motion valences to fit. Therefore, I'd expect the same of the 25th anniversary parts. On the Jetta, the Bora 4Motion valances fit on the u.s. spec bumpers.

Damn.

I like the fact that it is understated. Everything else on the market seems too extreme for me.
Adding bumpers into the mix makes it a little more expensive.

RPI can get you f/b bumpers for $400US or so.
A whole bodykit and paintjob AND install? What's another $400.

hey I_Fly, i added a post a week ago about the Rieger front valence for a Jetta.
it kinda looks like a 4mo valence. whats the diff on the Rieger?

It is pretty much confirmed that the 25Y GTI is coming over to the North American market. It is only a matter of time (I am guessing six months to a year). However, VW will have to make the kit conform to the NA-spec bumper and that means you'll be able to get the kit without having to swap out to a European bumper. I am going to start saving now and plan on getting the whole package when it comes over! I kinda like the thought of a 25th Anniversary GTI "GLX VR6 Edition."
