No, it's coming over. It looks like it won't be called "25th Anniversary GTI" over here, though. vwvortex1 said it was coming, and he's always been right in the past.

I think 20th is what Jamie said in the post.
only 20 years as of 2003 for the US market.

nope it won't have a date attached b/c our 20th aniversary of the GTi is in 2003. He said it's be GTi S or GT or something like that.
But then in 2003 we will have a 20th edition.
