I hadn't realised that we weren't getting the 'semi-smoked' headlights on the DE. It seems that these are NOT the same as the Hella smokes (which are completely smoked). The surround appears to be smoked but the reflector looks like it is standard 'chrome'.
Does anyone know if these are available in the U.S. or if it's an easy mod? Simply importing them from Europe would create an aiming issue though right?
Any info. or opinions welcome.

There's actually a cheap "joey ghetto mod" that you can do to the current lights to get the blacked out look of the 25th Ann. car. Might want to ask on the MkIV forum how it's done. I have seen it and it actually looks pretty good on the current cars.

potter can also get the hella blacked out lights...i don't think they are EXACTLY like the Mk4 lights but call and ask...he usually can get anything if the demand is high enough. and i know if i get a DE i'll be wanting most of the OE stuff
