Re: 3 MORE simple G60 qeustions!! (DONSFLRADO)
It should be a chemical resistant hose as it carries brake fluid to the clutch mater cylinder
the Blue sensor is good to change out every so often and it only costs $7-$12 from the dealer
About that screw. Do you have an air box or open air filter? I bet that line would normally run to the air box.
quote:

Hi Vortexers! Thank you for the responses to the previous questions. The next group of questions are;
1. Hey "Corrado Alley" Where did you get a metal water pipe for $10? The dealer told me $48.00 and a 2-3 week wait because "We don't stock much for THOSE cars."
2. The blue hose going from the brake master cylinder resivour to the firewall area has a split in it. Does this need a special type of line or can I use a generic rubber line?
3. I was considering replaceing the black plastic fittings coming off the head when I do the hoses. Should I do the 2 sensors as well to establish a baseline for trouble-shooting? The car has some drivability issues now and I am looking to reduce the variables before digging deeper. I am also changing o2 sensor and some vacuum lines since I feel they are all original. I found 1 vaccum line plugged with a screw. This is why I am asking about changing "extra" things.
TIA for everyone's input; it has made this car so much more enjoyable.

$10 from me. I have parted out a bunch of Corrados and you are the first to ever require that part BTW I am both G60ING and Corrado Alley1. Hey "Corrado Alley" Where did you get a metal water pipe for $10? The dealer told me $48.00 and a 2-3 week wait because "We don't stock much for THOSE cars."
