Hi guys, wonder if you can help.
I have a 1989 Mk2 Jetta WE, I have bilstein sport shocks on it but running no rear ARB, only stock front. I entered a gymkhana on Sunday, and despite setting the best time, I was 3-wheeling quite a lot. Can anyone give me pointers on how to reduce this? I'm sure a nice hollow 28mm rear ARB will help - the more techical the better. TIA

Re: 3-wheeling (Jezztor)

3 wheeling is part of the game. i've got about 100+ pictures of my car on 3 wheels. if you're lifting and you don't have enough traction in the rear it can be an issue -- but even with one up, i don't have any traction issues.
a vortexer 'wackywabbitracer' was working on some roll couple distribution calculations to try and minimize this -- he's probably on the right track.
but yeah -- autoxing a vw on 3 wheels is about par for the course.

As far as I know they're Eibach springs. They came on the car standard from the factory, they're not lowered (least not by much) but they were put on the South African wolfsburg editions - can't give a model number I'm afraid.
