Can someone please post a picture of this method or point to what you are talking about>>>>>>CIS owners, buy a couple of throttle body couplers, and some 3" PVC. Paint the PVC whatever color you want, and find
the adapter to fit it right, and join the air box and throttle body with the PVC. This will not add torque, or any
real noticable hp gains, but you will see throttle response increase, and maybe get 1 or 2 at the top end.

in reference to the intake, the PVC replaces the curved OE plastic piece between the air box and the throttle body. i think couplers would be the rubber boots?

It should look like this but I used a very thin wall aluminum tube with a three inch OD.
