My dealer gave me a bottle of this to get off the shipping adhesive.
Well, I tried it on the front bumper and it kinda made it blurry. .
Does anyone know how-to use this stuff properly?.... I guess you could say my bumper is a bit "marred" on my Jazz blue. Does anyone know how to remove the blurry section? Lemme know.
Thanks 2 all. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: 3M Adhesive Remover (Tadd)

im guessing by blurry that there is still some adhesive left on the paint. when you rub your hand across it does it appear to be tacky ? or when you take a towel across it does it keep the lint on it ? if so use a touch more of the adhesive remover and a clean section of towel to remove it. i have used 3m AR for quite a few years and have never seen it damage a finish.

Tadd what did you rub the 3m Adhesive remover on with?
You should use a clean cotton towel and just soak the towel on the adhesive, and it will just peel right off. Don't rub - that is probably why your paint is blurry or marred.
If you have removed the adhesive, I suggest using a polish like scratch-x to bring back your finish.

Re: 3M Adhesive Remover (adg44)

Thanks guys.
I used a cotton towel. I just went to Wal-Mart the other day and picked up some soft cotton Terry clothes ....so I will try it again.
So....soak it in the towel and soak the excess off? Thanks. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I just dabbed the remover on and it took off the fading, thanks!
