looking for a drop this low for my cabrio . i know they sell a drop like this for the mk II but does anyone sell this for the mkI

hmm, nope. Not sarcasm.
You see, on your CabrioLET the stock suspension travel is about 4". That means roughly 100mm. Eliminate 80mm of that travel through super low springs and you're left with basically no suspension movement whatsoever. So yeah, you may as well be riding around on 20mm of paper towels.

fk 75/60 hi-tec suspension kit. Its low, but you will be on the bump stops constantly

tmtuning.com sells some nice suspension kits/springs/shocks etc.
With the right shocks/struts you can do it but I would try a 40/60 first and if you want it lower then cut em. Did it on an mk2 and mk3 and both ride fine and LOW
