I have a 1981 scirocco which starts right up the first try each day. The \motor runs smoothly. But when I drive it till it get warm, once I stop it will not start right away..it usually takes about 14 key turns to get it going. But it if start it immediatly within 5 minutes of stopping the car it will start right up.
Sometimes it will have a rough idle after 14 key turns, but most of the time it runs smoothly again....I have replaced the cold start valve..I have a small leaky fuel injector line (which I looking to buy used for piston # 2). In addition, The fuel accumlator was leaking when it idled rough.
What do you think it might be.?????
