I Bought this 83 rabbit gti 1 month ago.. this issue just started yesterday... at low rpm's it misfires, but once I get it to about 3000 rpm and above it runs great "no misfire" any ideas?
Also I just replaced the fuel filter and previous owner replaced plugs, wires, dist/cap & rotor 1 year ago under "300 miles"

Despite previous owners history, i'd still be investigating the ignition system.

Fixed...Half working fuel injector was the issue
