READ THIS>>>>>NO SPEEDING in and out of the parking lot and the boat launch is a ONE WAY parking lot!!! i noticed a few people that did/ didn't recognize that information... Please, we have to respect the other drivers who are there to what?...um launch their boats, go figure

Why: It's going to be HOT!!!!Its summer and Alki is a good place to kick-back, relax, and meet some more VWs...Great spot to take pictures http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
PLEASE NOTE!!! This is a GTG ONLY FOR THE SUMMER!!! The reason why it's a week day is because the weekends are extremely crowded.
i'm not trying to take away anyone's GTG. For the purpose of gas prices being so high i thought it would be nice to have a GTG closer to home in Seattle for the summer http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Take I-5 South
Take the W SEATTLE BR exit, EXIT 163A, toward SPOKANE ST.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto WEST SEATTLE BRIDGE.
Take the HARBOR AVE/AVALON WAY ramp.
Turn RIGHT onto HARBOR AVE SW
HARBOR AVE SW becomes ALKI AVE SW.
**If you're coming from the I-5 South**
Take I-5 North
Take the W SEATTLE BR/COLUMBIAN WAY exit, EXIT 163.
Take the W SEATTLE BRIDGE/SPOKANE ST ramp toward SAFECO FIELD/SEAHAWKS STADIUM.
Take the HARBOR AVE/AVALON WAY ramp.
Turn RIGHT onto HARBOR AVE SW
HARBOR AVE SW becomes ALKI AVE SW.
