8v information sites?

I was wondering if there are any information sites (Not performance) on 8v's. Thanks!

Well, I will be honest: I don't really know some basic things about VW's. Before I made the right choice, I was planning on getting a Dodge turbo car of some sort .

yeah, I know what you're thinking, but the thing was is that I found a site about the car I wanted, and it had oodles of information on Dodge turbo's. But I liked VW's a lot better, bought one, but I don't have some basic knowledge and understanding of the car I have.
So, that's my story and I'd like some links to just general 1985 8v/GTi/Golf/VW sites, anything relating to my car, really. I havent been able to find much. Thanks!

Ok. But yesterday, some guy told me I have a CIS fuel system and not the CIS-E. I didn't know for sure which mine was. Actually, I really don't know the differance between any of them:CIS, CIS-E, CIS Motronic? I could use some help

I've been told my engine code is HT. So, that wrks for me!
I have a Haynes manual, which I found out, doesnt really help you find info on your car. It's just there to show you how to fix it. I wish I had a Bentley, by what I've heard. Thanks though!
