Everything was fine except the PCV (modified by previous owner) and vacuum lines/sensor/switches failed.
The crankcase breather base (where it meets the motor) has a black epoxy-like substance securing it to the motor.
I remove the breather and fiddled witht the epoxy and it separated with ease.
Has anyone ever seen epoxy stuff securing the crankcase base?

I just have use a rubber grommet on the valve cover to attach my breather elbow. There just needs to be a good seal not anything that is "air tight" like epoxy.
