I just clicked on the Hemmings link and it is still FS only now it is $19,900. I'd say that is a little closer to reality than $50k.

Always thought these were cool. It would be cool if VW made a modern day version of the Golf Country. A lifted truly capable version of a 4 door GTI with AWD and VR6. A limited edition throw back to this, but know the bean counters will never sign off on that.
