i found a 92 8v gti with a 98 2.0 jetta engine in it.....the body is mint, and it has a ton of professionall installed mods. the engine was also shop done.
italked him down to 3500 if i get it this weekend. do youguys think this is a good deal? what should i look for when i go?
thanks for the help in advance, and speed of responses is of the essence.

Take the 92 to a mechanic...if it's sound, buy it. 3500 sounds fair to me.
