That does not sound right at all. I only spike high in 4th and 5th gear.1st and second should not be anywhere near a bar.3rd may hit a little over a bar but not 1.4 .Sounds like a mechanical problem.Where is the Boost gauge tapped into?

APR dumped the spike for a wider powerband. Mine now spikes at 19-20, drops to 15-16 and holds till it starts to taper to 10.
And your old 91 program with a spike has been overwritten w/an improved 91 program as well.
And APR's tendency is not put the old programs back on. You can work w/them if you just have to see a 23lb reading, but it's not their norm.

The vacuum hose is run to the fuel pressure regulator just like it is in my car. I am positive that he has the 93 Oct program, Tom and Brian at ECS Tuning burned the chip for him. What it does is a shoot up to 20psi then falls to 16psi it will hold there for a bit before slowly falling to 10psi. My AWW will sometimes make it to 17psi but mostly holds 16psi through the power ban. When I had the 91 Oct program I would spike to 21-22psi then fall to around 14psi. Do you think it is possible that APR might have sent the 91 program to Tom by accident, from what I have seen so far no one has a boost spike on the 93 Oct program.

If you have a GIAC chip please do not post we are talking about the APR 93 oct program.
