99.5 OEM Badging??

OK I'm confused, so many modded pics here.

What badging came from the factory on my 99.5 GTI GLX???
(Mine currently has only 'GTI' on driver side rear)

Normally a GTI GLX would have come badged 'GTI' on the left rear and 'VR6' on the right rear.
