611 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  LooseNut
ok.. i've read the "recharge using R134a" stuff @ the CCA.. however the author did state that the procedure was for the R12 system on a VR6... any things i do differently/look out for when i recharge my system on the G60 w/R134a?
granted.. it's winter right now.. so i won't be doin it till later.. but.. the thought is in my mind.. so i figured i'd ask around
TIA

I don't have time to give you an in depth proceedure but its not too hard. I know the A/C system very well and tell you how to do it later. I replaced all of my O-rings, and the dryer and then just used the conversion oil and 2 cans of 134 thne super cold air http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Hit me up too...I need a/c down here in...THE DEEP SOUTH
Isn't there a drop in alternative to R-12? I was going to try it after I fixed my leaks.

What are the symptons of a contaminated (with air) drier? Mine most likely needs to be replaced.
