OK, we have hopefully out distanced the snow for a while so we are going to break out yet another new route for FMFT 16!!! I know you are all thinking how is this possible....rest assured we have been staying up nites to ensure you have lots of fun while checking out the nicest roads LI has to offer without any increase in price!!

We are going to be having the latest in our monthly cruise series from Deer Park to Riverhead on Friday, Febuary 15th. As usual, we meet at the Pathmark on the Southern end of Route 231/Deer Park Avenue starting at 8:30p, with roll off at 9:30 sharp. As usual, this event is open to all VW/Audi owners and is a lot of fun. Please be sure to bring a full tank of gas, a winter jacket and your Motorola Talkabout style FRS radio set to channel 6.6 [a/k] has put a lot of effort into the planning of the route and running of this event, and I think it really shows. This is the 3rd all new route and if you ask those that joined us in October and November, I think they will tell you we use some of the best roads in NY. Feel free to e-mail me for specific questions, and if you are coming from a bit further away post here so others can work out caravan details with you. We hope to see all our friends come out for the first FMFT of 2002.....
Please note, we will be asking people to show some common sense and restraint at this event. As it gets bigger and the roads get sandier, we have to keep the craziness in check in order to ensure there are no boo-boo's along the way. This means anyone driving over double yellow lines or attempting to do a top speed run will be asked to leave...please save it for the LIE on the ride home. If you are acting like a moron, you will be asked to leave...if you use a bit of common sense, we will alll have a good time....
