Re: A little education please (WolfGTI)

EGT's when to high will warp the turbine shaft causing turbo failure. It also lets you know if your running lean or too much boost. When someone says they are running a T3 or T3/T4 it means that they have changed the stock K03 turbo which comes on the car and replaced the stock manifold with a manifold for the Garret Turbos. So basicaly they've swapped turbos to a much more efficient one.

Re: A little education please (Bug_Power)

Thanks for the infor as regards EGT. - I was aware that running a T3/T4 means they changed from the K03/K04 they originally had - what I wanted to know was what does the Super60/70 trim mean for the turbo.
