I want to use Bilstein Sport fronts and Boge Pro Gas rears for my GTI. Any problem with a setup like this?
It's too late to change my mind because I'm looking at the shocks on the ground, to the left of them are Neuspeed Race springs in decent shape, to the right are new Eibach Sports. I'll have to flip a coin.

Re: A moment of your time for shocks/struts question (headrush)

why would you want to mix up the struts like that?? I have bil-sports, and from what ive heard, boge is nothing special, better than stock, but a long way from bilstiens.

It was a cost issue. The shops want $220cdn each for the Bilsteins. I got the Boge shocks for a good price. I figured since they are both stiffer than original it wouldn't hurt to mix them, I didn't take a lot of things into consideration. I'll eventually buy the Bilstein rears too. Big no-no as it is?

But then I can't put the Bilstein decals on my windshield!
Kidding, I already bought them cause I beleive they don't have to match. I'll install them and then let you all know how it rides. I was just wondering if my car was going to be bouncing all over the place, or taking bumps like a rock.
