From what I saw in the thread, it was modified so that it would run. They kept the original parts. I think I would rather have it running than being a lawn ornament. It's not like the car is 100% original now anyways, right? It's had a few different types of rims, I believe.

That car is so sweet. The only car that is a modern VW that has the historicity of that car would be a Limited!
