Is this possible???

Looking to do a swap but want to use the original gauges for mileage purposes and other good things like MFA, is it possible without changing the stock dash to an a3 dash

cars have been posted here without the swapped dash, so just doing a little checking. someone has to have pics, i'm almost positive i've seen this done before.

I did it on mine but don't have any pics as I spend far too much on my car and not enough on electronic devices. I do have a camera now and if you ask nicely I will go out and get some pics of it this weekend. The best part of the whole thing was I did it in England and when I brought the car back here I retitled it with 14,568 miles on it and it was shown as actual mileage on the new title.

I have MFA on an A2 cluster in my VR swap

I had MFA on my old A2 cluster before I ripped it out

and I have MFA on my A3 cluster

i have an A3 VR6 cluster in my A2 looks pretty good but you need to do a little fitting to it to be reel clean

"sister's car" has a mk3 cluster with a mk2 dash. It fits right in behind where the normal cluster goes and looks okay. No 4cyl had mfa so i could not get it to work on her car

I mean A3 4cyl...that is what we are talking about right??? A3 clusters??? The 4cyl and 6cyl clusters are different.
