Hi guys,can anyone give me an advice how to change the bulbs in my headlight,regular halogen bulb and also DRL bulb,those small ones?Do I have to remove the whole headlight or it's just plug n play kind of thing for both of them.I have 09 A3.Thanks for reply

I'd say you can probably do it without removing the bumper if you have small hands and/or a lot of patience and you don't get angry too easy. Lol. I changed my hid bulbs on my 06 without taking the bumper off. Yeah I know it's an 06 but I'm sure there's not a lot of space on the 09 either. anyways after about an 1 hour to 2 hours and a lot of cursing and pain I was able to do it. Hope this helps a little. Lol

For the best access on the 2009 to the current model A3 you need to peel back the wheel liner in the wheel well. It's best to get the car on jack stands and take the from wheels off. Tried to do it with fender liner half removed,but couldn't pull the bulbs out.Didn't know how to remove either of them.FK!
