Anybody knows the 1.9 tdi diesel engine code that they used for the 1997-1999 quattro A4 's?I'm doing a swap and don't know wich engine to use.

I checked many EU sites and I'm guessing AFN but not shure that that's the only one that work with the Quattro Tranny.HOW CAN i BE 100 %?????i And what kind off engine mounts I need????

it's not easy swap.. I have imported complete engine 1.9 TDI 130HP with quattro, 6speed transmission, with electronics, everything except body shell, haven't installed it yet, I am planning to installed to Avant, just waiting for good deal,
I don't think you will find mostly parts here, I did a research and through help of friends and family mostly I got everything here
the best way for you will be to get either damaged passat TDI and swap parts from A4, but remember you will require different tranny if you plan to have quattro with that... and many other parts
