when i tighten down the cap that blocks the hole that the old dizi go's in on the aba block,the intermediate shaft stops sniping as if something was holding it down as i tighten.its a aba block with the 16v oil pump,IM shaft,and the gear that sits on top of the oil pimp shaft. anything will help thanks

which intermediate shaft is it? 1.8 or 2.0?

you need 2.0 16v parts to make everything work right. and there should be a cylinder inside the cap that rides on top of the oil pump drive gear.. that cylinder in side should be free, and move up and down with ease. is that cylinder seized in the gear cap?

its not seized up and i dont think i need 2.0 parts

do i need 2.0 16v parts or can i just keep my 1.8 16v parts in the aba motor,b/c i just spent 100 on a new 16v oil pimp,can i just find a 2.0 16v and take the IM SHAFT sprocket,and the head sprocket and the crank sprocket?

you REALLY DO need 2.0 parts.. the 1.8 parts wont let the crank turn a full rotation..
