just got my transmission oil filled with redline mt-90 from potterman, wondering why i did'nt do it ages ago.
shifting is infinitely better, especially on cold starts
syncros seem to engage much much better as well, i had thought previously that my 2nd gear syncro was really about to go, but now it seems to have caught its second wind. now it feels just like all the other gears! i don't have to baby it into 2nd anymore
if you have a mk3 and the transmission oil hasn't been changed in a while, make sure you replace it with redline. cost me only $16 and its by far the most bang for the buck "mod" i did!

Oh thanx for the post i was realy aiming toward replacing the tranny fluid with the MT 90 because just like u i am having an intermittent 2 gear synchro engadement problem and ive heard that Redline Mt fluid will really help ............... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I'm waiting for my stuff from Potterman. I had the synchro replaced and still have the occasional grind. Funny thing is, if I shift at 5000 it might grind but if I'm pulling to 6600, no problems.
