ABS question...

my abs light came on after i hit a curb and snaped my axle and pop'd my air bags... my question is why did that light come on in the first place?? i replaced everything i broke except my air bags.. will this light turn off? thanks

maybe you damaged the ABS sensor - did you check it for proper operation?

Are you sure it is an ABS warning light and not just the brake pad sensor?
When I did my brake upgrade the ABS light came on and stayed on. I stopped by the dealer and they cleared it for me free of charge.
