I disconnected the gauge and still have the problem.

just an idea....... in the insttructions for the a\f ratio guages, it says to tap the signal wire on the harness side of the o2 wire plug, because some o2 sensors use shielded wire and it could give you problems. did you do that? i don't know if those o2s use shielded wire or not, just thought it throw an idea out there. hope you get it solved soon.

Clean the tbody with carburetor cleaner and cotton rags. Take all the big hoses off from the airbox to the tbody. Look inside. Disgust you? clean that gunk out. Thanks to emissions requirements, it will accumulate and should be cleaned out often. I do mine every other month or so. Look at the butterfly valve - stand on the pass. side of the car and look into the tbody. It's probably filthy. Clean it all out, wipe it off, then have someone hold the pedal down so the valve stays open and clean all the internals you can get without dropping anything into the tbody. Reassemble and drive. I noticed an improvement in performance the first time I did this.
Also let me know what happens with that clutch switch. My car overrevs too and I'm not sure if it's me or the car since I've driven other cars and this doesn't happen (as much anyway). I can also start my car with one hand since my clutch switch is probably toast. I never knew this had anything to do with the car when it was running tho..
