These pics are pictures of my buddy Tommy's 1990 Jetta. The kid is young and drives stupid but what are you going to do. They were up North camping when they decided to go for a drive. Well they lost control and flipped it in a ditch dooing over 120 km/h. The car roled smashing into bed-rock. My cousin in the back seat split his ear (5 stiches) but everyone walked away laughing. Here are the pics.

wow, very lucky. this is yet another reason why i love volkswagen's. a girl i know had a 94 jetta, they went out drinking and someone else drove it home. well, they apparently were not as capible of driving as they thought. they hit a divider on the highway (don't know the speed, but highway speeds none the less) and spun out, hitting every angle of the car on the guardrails and cement dividers. they all walked away unharmed. the car was completely totalled, and she bought a 2002 jetta wagon, because of how safe the 94 was (minus side airbags and other safety features they now put on the new ones)

Tommy is very VERY lucky he did not seriously injure or even kill himself and/or his friends. What a moronic thing to do. Obviously the kid had no regard for the lives of the people in the car with him. Hopefully this has taught him a HUGE lesson.

Looks almost identicle to what I did to my first 85 GTI, flipped it down a ravine and landed it upside down, the roof caved in all the way to the top of the steering wheel, only injury between the two of us was my sprained wrist. My passenger crawled out of the car with the "oh****" handle still in his hand! Hope your buddy learns a lesson from this.

whoa, i went end over end then rolled 3 times in my 1989 16v trophy - it didnt look nearly that bad - glad you all escaped ok! (i walked away w/o even a bruise from the seatbelt)
maybe the a2's they send to canada are built better

that would explain it. i was doing 150km/h but all i did was catch a curb that sent me flying.
