A professional detailer told me there's nothing I can do about them, but I don't believe him. I've searched and came up with-
-Clay bar
-Very fine steel wool
-Vinegar
-Chrome polish
What is the easiest and quickest way to remove these irritating eyesores?

Since you are in Jerzey go pick up some Zaino Glass polish and get Porter Cable Orbital buffer and you should be good to go. Removes everything on my windows except for the chips. haha
Very good product. I had the same problem while living in STaten Island, NY, and while in Reno I would occasionaly get the hard sprinkler water on my glass and this would remove it.
I dont know how well it would work by hand, but it is worth a shot.

^ x2. 0000 steel wool is my answer for all window related questions. It'll remove anything and will not damage.

I just got done with the 0000 steel wool, and it barely did anything. I still have whats look like to be water spots all over.

einszett Glas Polish was formulated just for this type of issue
Use in conjunction with a cotton towel by hand or with a machine and then buff off with a microfiber towel. The clarity will be fantastic. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I never ordered that glass polish, but chrome polish and 0000 steel wool worked pretty good http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
