Pulled up to light saw a Type-S to my left I had to give it a shot. Looked a driver 3.2 Type-S gave the http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif he replied http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif light changed. Launced a clear car length. Got up to 55 mph. Stoped at next light. Gave the peace sign for want to try again a second time? He rolled down his window and asked me what's under the hood? I could not help but smile & chuckle cause my car is debaged and clean as sh*t.

I am sure he did not know what the heck I was driving. Well, I confessed VR6 With Chip. He said Ohhhhh, Oh I had a VR6 too, he replied. He said this car has 260HP, I said that nice. Now lets try this agian. Well, he tried again. I out launched him then he tore by me. It would have been interesting if I was in the car a lone. I had three peole in the car. No the GTi is not going to tear by a 3.2Type-S at 155MPH but it will beat the Typ-S off the line and through the next corner in the day to day driving. Bet, he will think twice the next time he pulls up along anothe debaged VW. VR6 Rules

IB4TL! Nice story man...but ones like these dont stay open for long. Theres a kid with an RSX-S that wants to race me at work...we'll see when it stops raining. Glad to know I'll out launch him anyway

I would imagine a similar result against a 2002 Maxima 3.5 a/t, yet I would imagine the 6-speed Max with (LSD) will bar the upper hand off the line.

isnt TL Type-S automatic?? and weights a ton???
dont know about you, but i ve race with my friend's Benz C42( or C43, cant remember) AMG. i kick his ass off the line

but after 60mph or so, he pass me with ease.... cause it is V8 and power by AMG!!!

i beat my friends V-tech prelude with mods 14.6 off the line evry time up until 80 then he passes me. not bad for just chipped and less than 200 hp

With 2.5 full cat SS exhaust you have a good chance of getting out and staying there. This is my 2nd vr6 they all sufffer from a stiffled exhaust. I plan on the Autotech again. Unbelievable HP gains car just wants to run when you let is breath.
