Re: Adding boost to my 16v- Which head gasket?????? (Boosted8v)

IMO the ABA is great, I have used 2 on 16v 9a motors which lowers the compression somewhere around 9:1, this worked great and has seen 16 psi, make sure if you use the aba headgaskets you use arp head bolts and torque them to at least 80 ft lbs.

OK never mind. I did some research and im going to stack 2 ABA headgaskets to lower my compression to somewhere between 8-1 to 8.5-1. Thanks.

Yeah, you gotta file out one of the mounting holes slightly, not a big deal. BUT a company does make a copper gasket to lower the compression, it's like $100 though, and it's copper = copper sucks.
