Adding Power Seats to a GLS???

Well I was going to get some power Jetta Wagon Sport seats for my Jetta and was wondering how hard the install would be? What would need to be done for the wiring, is there anything special? Would there be additional wiring needed for the power or is the Wiring harness for the GLS the same as the GLX? any help would be appreciated.

I don't think the plugs are compatible. I read somewhere (in the MK!V Forum) that the plugs from 2000 and 2001 are different, and that possibly 2002 were different from those.
I am interested in this too. If anybody has experience swapping seats post it here please.

I was told that the GLS does not have the wiring harness for power seats. Also the position memory on the power seats is stored in the ECU. So probably need a GLX ECU as well. I want to have this mod as well but I think it is too much of work even I have the Bentley manual.

I might be wrong on this, anyone can verify?

Get Bentley manual and look. I think you can find an answer there.
It can be done IMO. I had VW Quantum with all manual options, and I was able to install all power options in it since I had 2 cars to do it. I compared fuse boxes on both of them, found the right wires, and had it done. It's doable.
