I just test drove Adrenalin's Golf 1.8T (2001 AWW) Model equipped with just an APR chip (no exhaust or filter).
OMFG - With only 50 shot (WET system), the car just lights up 2nd gear while rolling. Basically say at 30mph in 2nd, step on in at WOT and there is NO traction

- Getting to 130mph is just a breeze.. Bring on that K04

The kit comes with its own TPS switch that is activated via a toggle switch in the car. All you got to do is go WOT and the fun begins.
Dyno testing has been completed and has been proven to be very consistent. Almost 50hp on stock chip and over 65hp improvement using the APR chip (on top of what the APR chip adds)
The setup is almost identical to their Audi setup with different mounting points and will available shortly for both Golfs and Jettas.
Stay tuned for more pictures of the setup.
BTW, for those NON BOV believers, the car was also running an HKS SSBOV (which Adrenalin will also be offering to the public shortly) with NO CEL. The air was blown "atmospherically"

I have heard/seen the BOV kit -- same setup thats been on their Corrado 1.8t and the Sirocco 1.8t. Great sound and works with out CE.......
cant wait to get my car there in March.....let the fun begin.....

The kit as you say adds 65 HP on top of what the APR chip adds
so thats 65 + ~45 HP = 110 HP

How many $$$$

the torque gains when you spray are what its all about... Would probably be the #2 cheapest bang for buck upgrade after chipping imo.

these guys put in alot of r+d, back in the spring they siad it was gonna be 6-7 hundred buck. please don't quote me on this.

i'd buy a $600-700 kit in a heartbeat. Think about it. We pay $500-600 for a good quality chip system to gain 40hp, if there was a way to pay that much and gain equal or more, that would be super.
I probably wouldn't put nitrous on my car till the warranty was nearly up though, and would like to see some dynojet graphs of the air/fuel for a few people before trusting an expensive motor to this..
Would suck to blow up your motor. That T28 blowup recently kinda got me scared ya know.

Cool looking, but i doubt you'd get away with that purge at the strip.. Imagine an old 69 camaro with side exhaust shooting flames to the left of you

I'd place the purge on the only logical place for a turbo car - pointing at the intercooler
