So I started racing my 2003 GTI 1.8T last year
My best time with these mods was 14.3 @ 98 MPH

Lots, and lots of practice. That seems to be the mod that works the best. Work on your 60' times. They make the biggest differance.

Thats my how to. I ran a 14.01 on stock software, boost, turbo, dp, exhaust, tires. Basicly i had suspension, weight reduction, intake, and dog bone mounts.

look into a good clutch and do whatever you can to get the 60' times down. That is where you will pick up the best gains.

You're better off spending money on the driveline: diff, axles, final, slicks, etc .. then you are on power mods. Add to the above alot of track time and you'll improve greatly at the same power level for even more bragging rights
