volkswagen hands me the same line of sh1t about no warranty repairs due to outside influence. nothing short of a lawsuit will resolve any sort of repair issues not covered by our flimsy, almost non existant warranties.

Sorry to hear. I know that there are quite a few lawyers hangin' on the Vortex. Wonder if any of them is willing to take your case...pro bono? Have they specified what outside influences?

they dont have to be specific. for whatever reason, whether it was raced, the technician decided to loosen every bolt in your engine bay, or damage due to an act of god, if its not a factory defect, they re basically saying get bent. you ll get nothing more than an apology from vw, a very insincere apology at that.

Isn't it just great how dealers are so friendly and nice while they ask you to grab your ankles as they all line up behind you to void your warranty for spilling coffee on the rubber floor mats. I'd say default your lease and go to court.

i am going to court, defualting on your lease is always a bad idea tho.
hopefully the dealership will settle, the lawyer im talking to beat ford, not a ford dealership, im talking about the big blue oval. i dont want to sound cocky but i know this dealership has been sued b4, and their record of breaking various parts of my car when i came in for service in the past speaks volumes.

ok, be specific with what you have modded your car with... if the answer is NOTHING, and you can prove it... meaning there is no chip, and there is no exhaust, and you remove your hands free system you may have wired in... then the dealer must service your car. however, if you have modded your car in any way, and they CAN prove it... then they are entitled to hassle you, deny service, or if they really dont like you - void your waranty. everyone knows by now that modding your car in anyway risks waranty issues... if you indeed modded your car, and i dont mean to sound like an ass, you had to be aware that something like this might happen!

I must have done something right. My dealer has never said a word about my chip, intake or aftermarket BOV, they just fix things or do the the standard warranty oil changes and never say a word.........Is this weird??
