Vortexers today I opened my hood like I usually do once a week at least to check stuff out and I noticed my filter had come off the MAF... the most I say I drove with it off is 1000 km,number taken in reference to the last time i poped the hood...carruns perfect no problems but is there anything I should worry about or nosince the car is runing perfect.

Only have to worry about whatever dust and dirt you sucked into the engine.
Nothing you can do about it now. Unlikely to affect your MAF.

Especially with all the crap we got on our roads right now. But nothing you can do about it now. Put it back on and make sure it doesn't happen again! Should be ok!

I use a PiperX intake which just slips on the MAF and I was constantly checking it because it would slowly slide off. I ended up using the 3" rubber extension I got with my Jimspeed heatshield to secure the MAF to the intake piping. I like the intake but that is not a safe design to just 'slip' on.
