Bingo. We all just know this piece of crap does not work.
swirl - 'sw&r(-&)l
http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/audio.pl?swirl001.wav=swirl

2 : to have a twist or convolution
tumble - 't&m-b&l
http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/audio.pl?tumble01.wav=tumble
1 a : to fall suddenly and helplessly b : to suffer a sudden downfall, overthrow, or defeat c : to decline suddenly and sharply (as in price) : DROP <the stock market tumbled> d : to fall into ruin : COLLAPSE
2 a : to perform gymnastic feats in tumbling b : to turn end over end in falling or flight
3 : to roll over and over, to and fro, or end over end : TOSS
4 : to issue forth hurriedly and confusedly

transitive senses
1 : to cause to tumble (as by pushing or toppling)
2 a : to throw together in a confused mass b : RUMPLE, DISORDER
3 : to whirl in a tumbling barrel
-As you can see by matter of fact, swirling is more of a circular "whirling/twisting" motion where as tumbling is rather a constant rolling motion.
preignition - "prE-ig-'ni-sh&n
http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/audio.pl?preign01.wav
reignition
: ignition in an internal combustion engine while the inlet valve is open or before compression is completed
det·o·na·tion - "de-t&n-'A-sh&n, "de-t&-'nA-
http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/audio.pl?detona07.wav=detonation
1 : the action or process of detonating
2 : rapid combustion in an internal combustion engine that results in knocking
-The definitions for these two are fairly self explanitory
I may be wrong but doesn't match-porting the intakes give you better low end torque. As opposed to enlarging the intake ports, which would cause the air to slow on the manifold and intake port causing some of the fuel to fall out of suspension. This causing a lean condition at the lower RPMs and a loss of power. Because keeping air velocity up at the RPM desired is most critical for good hp. Bigger ports - higher RPM's to get more hp?
